Bio:

Dr. Victor Martinez obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Public Health from the University of South Florida. He then continued his studies at Nova Southeastern University where he completed his Bachelors of Vision Science and Doctorate of Optometry. He chose to become an Optometrist to provide informative eye care to people who may not be familiar with all of the different aspects of the eyes that relate to their general overall health. He also wanted to be a valuable, active member of the community and feels that providing a high level of care in a friendly environment allows him to do just that. In addition to primary eye care, Dr. Martinez’ office also offers contact lens fittings, treatment of dry eye diseases, infections and other conditions related to ocular health. His office also works with ophthalmologists in the area to co-manage post-operative care from lasik and cataract surgeries. When away from the office, Dr. Martinez enjoys spending time with friends and family and watching and playing sports. He also enjoys watching good movies at the movie theater. Dr. Martinez office is a VSP Premier Edge provider and also accepts most other insurances.
