Bio:

Dr. Star Rostankovski is an independent Doctor of Optometry and the owner of StarVision Optometry PLLC, located inside Visionworks at Cordova Mall in Pensacola. Dr. Star provides comprehensive eye examinations, glasses and contact-lens prescriptions, diabetic and medical eye-health evaluations, dry-eye care, retinal imaging and OCT, and evaluation of urgent eye symptoms. Her approach combines advanced diagnostic technology with careful clinical judgment, clear explanations, and genuinely compassionate patient care. StarVision welcomes new and returning patients and has earned more than 500 five-star Google reviews. Diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at 16 months old, Dr. Star grew up regularly visiting medical specialists and ophthalmologists. Those experiences shaped her understanding of how important it is for patients to feel heard, respected, and fully informed. She completed her undergraduate education in Medical Health Sciences at Purdue University, with minors in Biology and Psychology, and later earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry. She relocated to Pensacola after completing an optometric externship at the Gulf Coast VA. Outside the clinic, Dr. Star enjoys swimming, paddleboarding, and spending time at the beach with her family and dog. Her office accepts most insurance and is a VSP Premier Provider.
