Independent Doctor of Optometry

Bio:

Dr. Marissa Nicotra-Barnes graduated with her B.S. in Finance at the University of Central Florida and went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry, with honors, from Indiana University School of Optometry. Dr. Nicotra-Barnes is part of the Gold Key International Optometric Honor society . She completed several externships in Wisconsin, Indiana and Florida. Her practice specializes in comprehensive eye and contact lens exams as well as dry eye and sees pediatric patients 5 years and up. Dr. Nicotra-Barnes became an optometrist to serve others and give back to her community. When Dr. Nicotra-Barnes is not in the office she is volunteering in her community, trying new recipes, traveling, playing sports, bike riding or playing a good board game or puzzle. Her office accepts most vision insurance and is a VSP Premier Provider.
