Bio:

Dr. Francisco Baglieri is an optometric physician who is dedicated to bringing quality health care to his patients. Dr. Baglieri believes that every patient deserves the best care and proper education for their health. Dr. Baglieri grew up in Broward County and first moved to the Tampa Bay Area to pursue his bachelor's degree at the University of South Florida.At USF, he joined the Pre-Optometry Professional Society and discovered his passion for optometry. There he graduated with a Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Public Health. He then completed a Bachelor's in Vision Sciences and his Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University. There, Dr. Baglieri completed externships at the Bay Pines VA and Aran Eye Associates that emphasized in disease and primary care. He also completed rotations focusing on contact lenses and pediatrics. Dr. Baglieri decided to return to the Tampa Bay Area after graduation to provide premiere health care to patients through Optimal Eyecare. Dr. Baglieri is fluent in Spanish and speaks basic Italian. Outside of work, Dr. Baglieri enjoys spending time with friends, family and his dog Peppa, watching and playing various sports, and traveling. Dr. Baglieri's office accepts most vision insurance and is a VSP Premier provider.
