Bio:
Dr. Michael Niederkorn studied biology and chemistry at the DePaul University in Chicago before his optometric education at the University of Houston’s College of Optometry. He specializes in OPTOS retinal imaging, Visual Field Analysis, LASIK pre- and post- care, and diabetic eye care management. He is also proud to serve pediatric patients starting at age five. Dr. Niederkorn received his first pair of glasses in the first grade and always enjoyed seeing clearly again after his optometry appointments. After his undergraduate studies, he decided optometry would be the perfect fit for his desire to be in healthcare and to make a difference in people’s lives. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and daughters, playing guitar, and recording his own music.
Dr. Niederkorn’s office accepts most vision insurance and is a VSP Premier Provider.
