Independent Doctor of Optometry

Bio:

Dr. Alma Hernandez is a native Houstonian with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Houston and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Fluent in English and Spanish, she practices full-scope optometry, specializing in glasses and contact lens fittings, glaucoma management, and the treatment of eye conditions related to systemic diseases such as diabetes and dry eye. Dr. Hernandez enjoys caring for both adult and pediatric patients. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and three sons. Her office accepts most insurances and is a VSP Premier Provider.
