Dr. Samira Alejos is an experienced optometrist in Cedar Park, Texas. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve the clearest vision possible. With 10 years of experience as an eye doctor and a passion for eye care, she provides the highest-quality optometric services and exceptional patient care. Dr. Alejos has expertise in treating vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia, as well as more complex medical conditions and diseases, including glaucoma and strabismus. She also provides co-management of cataract and Lasik procedures, specialty contact lens fitting and Myopia control management. She is licensed in Texas as a Therapeutic Optometrist and as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.

She received her Bachelor’s degree at Texas State University before graduating from the inaugural class at the University of Incarnate Word – Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2013. She graduated with honors and completed internships at a major VA Hospital in San Antonio, TX, Dell Laser Center in Austin, TX, and Texan Eye in Austin, TX.

Dr. Alejos is the owner and founding member of Lone Star Vision Group. She is on the board of the Central Texas Optometric Society (CTOS). She is a lifetime Beta Sigma Kappa – International Optometric Honor Society member. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.

Dr. Alejos grew up in Austin and enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her wonderful husband and their three children.
