Bio:

Dr. Matthew Stancea is a therapeutic optometrist with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Concentration in Cell Biology and Biotechnology from Georgia Gwinnett College. Dr. Stancea is passionate about providing comprehensive eye care, placing emphasis on educating and informing patients so they thoroughly understand the condition of their eyes and vision. His motto is: "They're your eyes, I want you to know them as well as I do." He offers primary care optometry and specializes in treating dry eye disease. By taking the time to explain the results of the examination and the available treatment options, Dr. Stancea ensures that each patient receives personalized attention at Superior Eye Care. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, such as watching a movie or listening to a podcast with his wife. They have a daughter who brings immeasurable joy to their lives. His offices accepts most insurances and is a VSP Premier Provider.
