Bio:

Dr. Farooque graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston’s College of Optometry. In addition to routine eyeglass, contact lens and eye health examinations, Dr. Farooque’s office specializes in retinal photography and imaging using the latest state of the art equipment and technology. She chose the field of Optometry because it allows her to provide meaningful work and make a difference in the lives of others. “It’s fulfilling to experience instant gratification when patients put on glasses or contacts and immediately see a difference!” When away from her busy practice, Dr. Farooque enjoys being a mom to her shih-tzu, Kenzo, reading and traveling. Dr. Farooque is proud to be a VSP Premier provider and accepts most other insurances.
