Independent Doctor of Optometry

Bio:

After graduating high school, Dr Clyde Singleton joined the US Air Force where he worked as a medical laboratory specialist for 4 years of active duty. He was able to cross-trained to become a flight medic in the Air Force Reserves. After stints of duty serving in Desert Storm, he completed his undergrad degree in Biology at Xavier University in his hometown of New Orleans. He then went on to attend optometry school at University of Houston where he earned a Navy Health Professions Scholarship. After completing optometry school, Dr Singleton served 4 years as a Navy Optometrist. Dr Singleton has enjoyed 25 years of practice in various modes. His primary focus is routine eye exams and eye health with a soft spot for serving active duty and fellow military veterans and their families. In his free time, Dr. Singleton enjoys playing golf, watching sports and traveling His office accepts most insurances and is a VSP Premier Provider.
