Bio:
Dr. Farooque received her education from the University of Houston's College of Optometry and offers retinal imaging and diabetic eye care in addition to comprehensive eye care exams. Dr. Farooque found her true calling in optometry, having found the practice to be both fascinating and fulfilling.
I've always had a passion for science, especially the human body. I gained a special interest in the eye as I progressed through my later years of schooling. I also knew I could best serve others by using my abilities of being a good listener and a natural problem solver which made me realize early on that a career in optometry was my calling.
Dr. Farooque enjoys studying the cosmos when away from the office - If they ever colonize Mars, count me in! Her practice accepts most vision insurance including VSP.
