Bio:

Dr. Jared Chen earned his BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston's College of Optometry. He chose to become a Doctor of optometry because he always had a curiosity and wonder about the eye and his own life was significantly improved by his own personal optometrist.Along with routine medical and contact lens examinations, Dr. Chen's office also specializes in dry eye management, contact lens fittings and refractive and cataract surgery co-management. His office welcomes patients of all ages. In addition to English, Dr. Chen speaks Mandarin Chinese.When away from the office, Dr. Chen enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with his family.Dr. Chen is a VSP Premiere provider and his office accepts most other insurances as well.
