Independent Doctor of Optometry

Bio:

Dr. Disha Patel obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Patel completed her clinical training at CorrectVision Laser Institute in Weston, FL, and Eye Centers of South Florida in North Miami Beach, FL. As part of her training, she gained experience treating ocular disease and providing pre and post-operative care to cataract surgery and LASIK/PRK/ICL patients. Dr. Patel also completed clinical rotations focusing on primary care, specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, and low vision. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. She is excited to be back home in Dallas to provide eye care to the DFW community. Dr. Patel’s office accepts most insurances and is a VSP Premier Provider.
