Independent Doctor of Optometry

Bio:

Dr. Elizabeth Mathew earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. During her clinical training, she gained hands-on experience through externships in private practice, the Indian Health Service in Albuquerque, and community clinics in Houston serving underserved and disabled populations. Dr. Mathew is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She is trained to diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and eye injuries. She also provides co-management for cataract and laser vision correction procedures. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mathew enjoys spending time with her family, staying active at the gym, exploring nature, and traveling. Dr. Mathew’s office accepts most insurances and is a VSP Premier Provider.
