Independent Doctor of Optometry

Bio:

Dr. Tammy Nguyen is from Houston, TX. She received both her B.S in Biotechnology and Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston. During her clinical training, she worked alongside several Optometrists and Ophthalmologists to further her education on wide-scope optometry, including primary eye care and managing ocular conditions such as diabetic & hypertensive retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eye, and myopia control. She also had the opportunity to co-manage pre- and post-operative cataract and refractive (LASIK/PRK) surgeries. Dr. Nguyen is dedicated to helping her patients understand the importance of caring for their eye health. She prioritizes providing thorough and thoughtful eye exams to ensure her patients leave feeling informed, cared for, and confident about their eyes. Outside of work, Dr. Nguyen enjoys being active at the gym, playing pickleball, baking, and watching binge-worthy shows. She is excited to start her journey in serving the Dallas community. She is also a foodie, so please send recommendations her way! Dr. Nguyen’s office accepts most insurances and is a VSP Premier Provider.
