Bio:

Dr. David Barley received his credentials at the West Virginia University, the North Carolina State University, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In addition to routine and medical eye exams, his practice offers a variety of services, such as treatment of eye disease and injury, specialty contact lens fittings, retinal imaging, dry eye care, laser retinal scanning, pediatric vision care, and diabetic eye care.

Dr. Barley sees his work as an opportunity to do what he loves. “My initial interest in vision came as a result of working with special needs populations. This sparked a specific early interest in vision problems and their impact on learning in the classroom and beyond. Practicing optometry provides a very unique daily opportunity to help all kinds of really cool people with their individual vision needs. I get to work with all ages, from all walks of life, so each day is interesting. I think it's important, rewarding work, and I wouldn't want to do anything else.

When not in the office, he enjoys live music and relaxing with family.

His office accepts most vision insurance including VSP.
