Dr. Ayeesha Patel graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Miami. She then continued her education to earn her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. Dr. Patel made the decision to become an Optometrist not only to treat and manage eye disorders and diseases, but also to improve people's quality of life. She is passionate about the way vision plays a huge role in a person's life and for Dr. Patel, being able to provide solutions for patients' visual needs by taking into account their lifestyle and daily activities is very fulfilling. In addition to providing routine eye health exams in both English and Spanish, Dr. Patel's office specializes in specialty contact lens fittings and ocular disease management including diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. When Dr. Patel is away from the office, she enjoys painting and travelling. Her office accepts most vision insurance plans and is a VSP Premier provider.
